The Student Creativity Program (PKM) is one of the efforts made by the Directorate of Research and Community Service (formerly the Directorate of Research and Community Service, Directorate General of Higher Education), Directorate General of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research and Technology, Higher Education, to improve the quality of students (students) in tertiary institutions. so that in the future they can become members of society who have academic and/or professional skills who can apply, develop and disseminate science, technology and/or the arts as well as enrich national culture.

PKM was developed to lead students to reach a level of enlightenment of creativity and innovation based on mastery of science and technology and high faith. In order to prepare themselves to become leaders who are intellectuals, entrepreneurs as well as having an independent and wise spirit, students are given the opportunity to implement their abilities, skills, attitudes, responsibilities, build teamwork and develop independence through creative activities in the field of knowledge they occupy.
